States structure that made a Capitalistic America the envy of the world are now
displaying unfortunate continued Socialistic devolution.” Hedgemastermb.blogspot.com

that leads to introspection necessary for citizens to become actively aware of America’s
current dangerous situation.

Constitutional Understandings and Practices
President James
Madison, who drafted our Fourth Amendment, had fought against “Writs of
Assistance” in the middle 1700’s which allowed the kings soldiers into every
part of Americans lives and violate any privacy by search and seizure. Madison
assisted in the creation of the Constitution in general and the Fourth
Amendment in specific to prevent our government intruding into private life unless
there was “cause” to believe a crime had been committed by an individual.
“General
Warrants” are today’s “Writs of Assistance”, that were applied by Britain to rape
and pillage, and are forbidden by our Constitution. And yet, General Warrants have
been illegally allowed by liberal and conservative presidents, WHY? As late as 1967 “Katz vs. the United States”
re-affirmed through the Supreme Court’s decision Madison’s contentions of
freedoms from these violations of our privacy. We as citizens must fight as did
our fore-bearers against these excuses to remove our constitutionally guarantee
of liberty for any reason.
The Fourth
Amendment requires a “Warrant” to be used for only “One Person”. The warrant
must reflect probable cause that “criminal activity” is afoot. “General
Warrants” for multiple people with no proof of possible wrong doing is expressly
forbidden by our Constitution.
Today, we
stand as citizens completely without any right to privacy. Our every word in
our homes, our beds and our bath are heard and recorded. All private
communication on a phone is recorded and saved. The Government hears us in our
cars and knows where we have gone and when. This is all made possible by the illegal
allowance of “General Warrants”.
We are more spied
upon than any citizens in this world. And yet; we submit to this intrusion.
What future does this auger for our children and their children that we as a submissive
generation have been the first to allow these “General Warrant” violations of
our Constitution? Our very way of life for which our forefathers, fathers and even
our children have fought and died is disappearing as we squabble. Who’s at
fault? A good part of blame is the trumpeted irrational fear created by a
corrupt central government under the last two Presidents seemingly dedicated to
replacing our Constitutional law.
In the 1940’s
we fought two great industrial nations Germany and Japan. We fought these two nations simultaneously in
a massive world war. Both had great armies, navies and air forces. We won
without giving up our Constitution. Will we be the first generation to cede our
rights to a mistaken government or at worst a corrupt central government desiring
power that wants our constitutionally guaranteed freedoms gone?
In our zeal
to be politically at odds, have we determined that venial and amorphous political
gains on one side or the other is worth destroying the nucleus of our
Constitution that has kept us great for 250 years? Will Republicans and
Democrats be so small so as not to see the bigger Constitutional threat? Two Presidents,
numerous Senators and too many House members have said yes they would destroy
our Constitution. WE MUST ACT!
When you hear
our current Democrat President Obama and recent Republican President Bush saying
we need this current NSA action or, a Republican Senator McCain saying we are
wise to have these Patriot Acts that have created our complete loss of constitutional
privacy; we can no longer look to a Party for assistance. We must instead look
to our Founders and their Constitution and what it truly means. We must demand our
Constitution made whole and unchanged for no venial reasons for the sake of our
children and their future!
Industry and Business
How did we
lose America’s international dominance in manufacturing of product production
and export? America was the world’s most aggressive and successful capitalistic
export producing industrial giant in the late 1800’s through the 1960’s. We had
Over 150 years of capitalistic growth and dominance throughout the world in capitalistic
commerce.” Today, heavy industries are international and produce most
manufactured product outside of America. When you see on CNBC that GM, GE, Dow,
or S&P is doing well; that does not translate to jobs in America.
Our industries,
in the very late 1960’s and throughout the 70’s & 80’s, moved
internationally for reasons of geographic diversification and cost. We are currently
a mere consumer and non-producer of heavy manufacturing for export. Millions of
middle class jobs have been lost to our children since the 1970’s. Our
government has not corrected this vital weakness.
The important
question is: Why haven’t industries
returned to our country to rebuild heavy industries here? The true reasons are
disturbing and dangerous. They pose great threats to our Country’s near economic
future and survival. Our Central Government has not acted capitalistically
since 1976 in this arena. No President since Reagan’s weak attempts, because of
a reluctant Democrat Senate, has efforts been made to bring heavy Industry back
to America.
Globally, the
cost differential in wage between nation states has compressed through the
years and hence not as critical as it was in the 50’s and 60’s. So, why is a
country like Mexico now, recently favored by the industries in the latest major
move back to the Americas beginning several years ago? Mexico, just south of our border, is today’s desired
target of Heavy Industry’s designations instead of the USA!
GM, GE,
Honeywell, Goodrich, Cessna and many other industries from over the world are
building heavy industries in Mexico hiring tens of thousands there plus many
more thousands support jobs in ancillary
subsidiaries? These are jobs America
could have won had our President attempted to capture that business for our
high school graduates!
The cause of
this terrible loss of millions of industry jobs and supporting ancillary jobs is
our flawed non-capitalistic Central Government.
Our Washington DC Government has become socialistically non-competitive
and elitist. The government serves itself, not our citizens. Our countrymen and
women are anxious to have jobs in manufacturing and production and not be
forced to accept government money and control.
Our States
yearn for the freedom to bring in business but, Federal Government and its
policies block them every way possible. It is the direct fault of non-competitive
elite socialization in Washington DC, primarily the Executive Branch coupled
with Agency interference!
Since the late
1970’s we have depended on lower paying services jobs in replacement of
disappearing higher paying real manufacturing of goods. Are there any debates or panels discussing
this evolution? NO! There is no public discourse as to why this
lifeline for our citizens isn’t completed. This lack of manufacturing damages
the lower and middle class especially our young who remain up to 50% unemployed!
The fact that this president uses subsidies for control of the poor vote to
selfishly retain power instead of bringing jobs to the economy is a sure sign
of venial and destructive socialistic control.
Government Practices State and Federal
The Federal Government
as an entity, and we include both parties, has become a poison to the United
States economy for the last 33 years. It has hidden this by giving more social
programs to keep the masses happy. When manufacturing and heavy industry
relocated overseas in the 70’s, America had the services industry, then the
technology age to push forward. Those two industries kept us going temporarily for
25 of those years. Without heavy Industry however, jobs for our kids fresh out
of high school began getting thin. They are now mostly gone.
Our Federal Government
has grown at prodigious rates multiplying its massive expense because of the unionization
of federal, state, city and county workers in 1979. Beginning In the 2000’s the
federal workers became the favored class as far as wage and pension compared to
the private sector.
There should
be an immediate cessation of any hiring into any government structure especially
Federal. Allow normal retirement to
shrink those governments then consolidate agencies and switch much of the
current functions of EPA, NLRB and others to the jurisdiction of the States. Wage
freezes should be put in place and early retirement encouraged. The unions
should be disbanded for all tax paid employees immediately.

explanation of this history and other articles can be found at: hedgemastermb.blogspot.com It’s the second Article titled “America’s
Economic Future.” Solutions for our
Economy are provided.
Central
Government Policies: Our Constitution defines intended functions of
Central Government. President Jefferson,
however, revealed in his writings what government was not to be. So, let’s see
what our most “Far Seeing” President Jefferson thought so
important that he warned all future generations:
“The Democracy will cease to exist when you take away from
those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”
“My reading of history convinces me that most bad government
results from too much government.”
“A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy.
Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!”
“If people let the government decide what foods they eat and
what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as the
souls who live under tyranny.”
“Experience has shown that even under the best forms of
government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations,
perverted it into tyranny.”
“The end of democracy and the defeat of the American
Revolution will occur when government falls into the hands of lending
institutions and moneyed incorporations.” (Author’s Note: The Federal Reserve
falls into this category).
“I predict future happiness for Americans, if they can
prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense
of taking care of them.”
“Laws that forbid the carrying of
arms . . . disarms only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit
crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the
assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an
unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”
President Jefferson’s words written
in the late 1700’s, over 200 years ago are prophetic and apply especially
today! They define realities of today. President Jefferson counted them as
signs of future dangers of lost democracy to all citizens.
Central Government Policies:
(More Specifics) If we are to survive
with a capitalistic and representative government, we must change the size and content
of central government. All Central
Government hiring should be immediately stopped and attrition allowed. No
firing for reduction purposes should occur.
Staffs of all Senators and
Congressmen are three quarters lessened. The White House Staffs are three
quarters lessened. All Agency Staffs retained are three quarters lessened. All
Staffs of all various departments such as Departments of Justice are three
quarters lessened. No temporary staff or outsourcing of duties or staffs of any
kind are allowed until those conditions are met. The overall target is to cut
the size and overall cost of government by three quarters. Let’s suppose Federal
Employment is by hire or subcontract 3.5 million people. Then by attrition of
death retirement or others the final numbers before hiring more must be
approximately 288,000. Many functions will become the primary responsibility of
States as it was intended in our Constitution. The States will compete to bring
solicited business competitively to each respective State. The States will be
the driver of laws and initiatives to bring manufacturing and other businesses.
The primary first function of
Central Government is to be of assistance to bring business into the country
and allow the States to handle them. The Federal Government is there to provide
assurance for businesses and assist in helping the State be conducive to
manufacturer’s wishes. The States should bid and provide all else.
Look at America now! The Federal
Government is anti-manufacturing! That industry has been historically the core
and foundation of our country. We are quickly becoming something that resembles
the Old Soviet Union or Mao’s China. We are practicing “Equalization” instead
of competitive capitalism. Who is making the best salaries? Is it government employees or private sector
employees? We must become competitive capitalistically not succumb to Socialism.
Citizen
Make-up and Condition
We have increasing numbers of illegal Immigrants being
allowed to remain and far more continues to come. These are the poor from
Mexico and other Central America States. They compete for the jobs sought by
our under privileged citizens. Both groups receive Federal and State
assistance. The current President wants them to continue because he feels they
are a future voting bloc. A very venial and corrupt reason as it was with the
past Republican president.
We now have poorer and lower classes in number and
percentage than at any time since the great depression and perhaps our entire
history without entry recordation. Even
with this devastation our president refuses to reach out as a central
government and do what’s necessary to bring jobs into America. He seems unwilling
or more likely professionally helpless! We
need Factory jobs as we once did in the late eighteen hundreds when we had far
less educated masses. We had those jobs after the two world wars which
catapulted us to being the world’s leader. We need those jobs now to provide
the base with which to grow again. This president is misdirected, confused or
corrupt. He refuses to accept that reality as did Mao. If we don’t have this
renaissance of economic understanding we will become like a bigger and poorer
Zimbabwe or Greece just one more poor country, once rich, run less than capitalistically.
Currency and Existing Wealth
Existing
wealth concentrated into the upper 10% of the population that had the foresight
and incomes to invest internationally into the global marketplace is doing
well. The “Middle Class” civilian in private employment has substantially disappeared.
The “Federal Government Employment” salaries have far exceeded the “Private
Sector Employment.” A 2009 chart displays the disparity. This is classic
Socialism. Every Socialistic Country
in history compensated Government employees far better than private sector
employees.
In 2009 the
wages and pension of a Federal Government Employee averaged $123,049.* The
average pension and wage of a private employee (this includes union and white
collar workers) was slightly above $61,059, roughly half of the Federal
Worker’s income. This is the classic sign of Big Government Socialism. *USA Today 2009*
There is an even far greater disparity today when bonus and
other factors are added over this past five years! These figures display
disparities similar in Socialistic nations of the past where mandatory
government income and benefits exceeded private wage. It stems in this case
from a lack of leadership from this and last presidents to bring adequate
manufacturing into the country for youth and lower class workers to begin a
legitimate private sector climb. This chasm has grown even more and not
corrected by the last three presidents for the past 21 years!
Instead the last two Presidents trumpeted equalization of
the classes assisted with government payments and benefits, a Socialistic
solution and poor compared to providing jobs at acquired manufacturing plants
built here by international firms. The graph above is worth a thousand
arguments defining the plight of the private worker in America.
Summary: Any president in office creating Government Programs
to “Socialistically Equalize” the masses, or to provide for the
under-privileged by government fiat without bringing sufficient business into
his country with jobs to pay for it is a Socialist. That president or leader
will harm his or her country!
If a
president gives speeches on helping the poor by government payment, be very concerned.
If a
President continues to create laws, orders or government created national programs
for the private sector, be very fearful of your continued freedom!
If a
President creates private entities away from government while still in office; Beware!
These are historically socialistic steps to allow a powerful single person permanently
take the reins of central government.
If a
President can’t bring in the global manufacturing business with good jobs for
his country by making them welcome; he doesn’t really care for his people, or
does he want dependency? Unemployment and its economic disastrous result is directly
the fault of a bad leader.
If a
President lies about the true condition of the country with outrageous numbers,
can he be trusted? (Unemployment at 7%)
If a
President allows a department of the government to have the capability to track
every citizen’s communication and activity on any pretense, fear for your
liberty!
Our current President
and previous President have both dwelled in these dangerous areas talked about
here. Let’s make sure we do better the next time. Let the theme be “How much manufacturing
business and jobs can you bring to America?” And; “How much freedom from
central Government edicts can you make possible?”
Capitalism
Wins! Here is a small list of successful countries that after WWII were
devastated and poor. With Capitalism they have succeeded for their citizens.
- Japan was destroyed. General Mac Author sent a man known well in the business community named W. Edwards Deming to assist. Japan was resurrected as one of the most powerful Capitalistic nations on Earth.
- South Korea was devastated by the Korean War and run by ineffective Dictators. The people demanded Capitalism. They brought in and then created their own industries. S. Korea is now one of the most modern Capitalistic countries on earth.
- China in the clutches of Socialism under Mao allowed millions of citizens to die while Mao and selected government groups thrived. Deng Xiaoping, a great hero, set Mao aside and created Capitalism making China great once again by bringing in Manufacturing.
- Mexico just under our southern border has become Capitalistic at last! GE, Gm, Honeywell, Goodrich Cessna and many more industries from all over the world are going there to open factories and hire tens of thousands of employees. Plus supporting business like restaurants, dry-cleaners, supermarkets and other will follow with even more jobs! Time will tell if their government remains Capitalistic or they fall back to their old ways.
All
four countries used the same methodology to become successful for their
unemployed. Each country offered Outsourcing labor, well organized, to
international businesses that needed product manufactured.. Plants were built
and people were trained and employed and the countries flourished and became
owners of some factories and advanced in technology. Where did they learn this?
America! It’s what we did in the 1800’s and early 1900’s
when we prospered and became the greatest nation on Earth. We were the great
example of Capitalism!
We
must do this again immediately rather than going into Socialism to which
America is currently succumbing. We need
public debates on these pressing questions with avid Government proponents on
one side and intelligent Private Sector advocates who believe in real hardcore
capitalistic philosophy on the other!

The crux of our economic woes lay in the fact that over the last several decades we have created entitlement societies on the back of the industrial revolution, technological advantages, capital accumulated from the colonial era, and the domination of global finances. Promises were made on the assumption that those advantages would continue in both Europe and US,
ReplyDeleteIt was assumed that ever greater prosperity and entitlements would be sustained through debt financed consumption growth. In that eerie fantasy world, debt fueled consumption was to be the catalyst to bring about ever more growth. Now the reality is becoming apparent that this is unsustainable. More on this subject in the article below,

Your comments are spot on. I read your article. It was excellent. The question remains however, what kind of federal and Sate modification and action needs to be taken to provide a return to dominant middle class appreciation and away from Top and bottom class economic dominance? Thanks Sorry for being so late!
